Introduction
Welcome to thepi.pe, a software service provided by CtrlFPlus Research Ltd. ("we", "us", or "our"). Thepi.pe is currently in beta and offers users the ability to connect multimodal vision-language models with external data. By accessing or using thepi.pe, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use thepi.pe.
Use of Service
Thepi.pe allows you to extract data from various documents and webpages for the purpose of integrating with AI models. This includes extracting markdown and visuals from URLs, PDFs, docs, slides, videos, and more. The data is ready for vision-language models like GPT-4o. You are responsible for the data you process through thepi.pe and must ensure that you have the right to use that data in connection with thepi.pe.
Accounts
To access certain features of thepi.pe, you may be required to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
Pricing and Payment
Thepi.pe offers various subscription plans with different features and limitations. Details of these plans are available on our website. Payments for subscription plans are non-refundable, except as required by law. Additionally, 2% of our revenue is contributed to CO₂ removal as part of our commitment to sustainability.
Prohibited Use
You may not use thepi.pe for any illegal or unauthorized purpose. Additionally, you may not use thepi.pe in a way that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair our servers or networks.
Intellectual Property
The software, including all intellectual property rights therein, is and will remain the property of CtrlFPlus Research Ltd. and its licensors. Your use of thepi.pe does not grant you any ownership rights to the software.
Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access to thepi.pe at any time, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms.
Disclaimer of Warranties
Thepi.pe is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties, express or implied. We do not guarantee that thepi.pe will be available at all times or that it will be free from errors.
Limitation of Liability
CtrlFPlus Research Ltd. will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of thepi.pe.
Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of any significant changes by posting the new Terms on our website.
Governing Law
These Terms will be governed by the laws of Canada, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
